A estreia foi em 1961 (1ª versão TV Tupi) e ouve uma reprise em 1963 (2ª versão TV Rio).
Obs.: Sergio Britto é o produtor e idealizador do Grande Teatro Tupi (a direção dos teleteatros, no Grande Teatro Tupi, alternava-se entre Sergio Britto, Flavio Rangel, Fernando Torres e Fabio Sabag e outros).
