Dossiê relacionado à peça de Paschoal Carlos Magno escrita, originalmente, em inglês. Foi encenada em Londres em 1945 e 1957. No Brasil, estreou apenas em 1951, no Teatro Regina com a Companhia Graça Mello.Em 1953, durante o Festival do Centenário da emancipação do Paraná, o Grupo Teatral Independente, encenou o espetáculo em alemão. No ano de 1954, Paschoal Carlos Magno foi convidado de honra do Festival Internacional do Teatro de Estudantes, na Alemanha, e sua peça foi encenada na abertura do evento pelo grupo do Teatro Universitário de Istambul.
